Flag of the Independent State of Croatia
After the occupation of the Banovina of Croatia, a fascist satellite state of the Third Reich and Italian Empire was set up, named the
Independent State of Croatia. It would later be overrun by the Red Army alongside the
Croatian Yugoslav Partisans.
