Flag of the Principality of Wallachia
The flag above is that of the Principality of Wallachia, the long-lived Romanian Kingdom lasting all the way from 1330, gaining independence from Hungary, until 1859, when Wallachia chose to unite with Moldavia. For most of its history, it had been under Ottoman suzerainty.
